BW Legal letter received for G24 Ltd - overstay at Wickes

Hi all, I have read the newbie section which is quite a lot to take in but here is the information regarding the PCN and requested fine of £160
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
The driver parked at the Wickes car park and it appears overstayed the duration of stay. The driver while also visiting Wickes will have also visited other shops in the vicinity but they were unaware that they had overstayed the time limit. This incident happened on the 5th Dec but this is the first the driver has heard of this letter dated 22nd July that arrived today but they did move house in the same month.
Where do they start as they only see the info for a new PCN received over receiving this letter

Complain to Wickes; their manager can cancel it.
And is the address shown on your V5C logbook up-to-date? This will be why you didn't receive the original PCN, as you say you moved house but did you change the logbook as well as (separately) your driving licence address?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ahaa, no the driver updated their driving licence but not the V5, they will sort that now.
They will contact Wickes and advise on the result.2 -
Re the parking charge: no paying it even if Wickes fail to cancel it.
The PPC and BW Legal need contacting by email, to rectify and ERASE the old address completely from their database (the NEWBIES thread 2nd post already covers this, in the info about sending a SAR),PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok, thanks. So the driver needs to send the template shown LegalBeagles here to G24 Limited on info@g24.co.uk and then an email to BW Legal stating the points a, b & c in the newbie thread?0

At this stage, The Keeper should send a rectification notice to the DPO of G24, instructing them to erase the keeper's old data and replace it with their current address for service, and to inform all their agents including BW Legal of the same.
The Keeper will need to include non-photo proof of ID.
In addition, the Keeper should also send an SAR as per the NEWBIES to the DPO of G24. Again, they will need to include non-photo proof of ID.
Ensure the keeper uses the word both C-m and I have highlighted.
It may or may not be an advantage to identify the driver at a later date, but at the moment everything should be done in the keeper's name.
In addition, the keeper should complain to the manager and CEO of every establishment visited by the driver, as well as the keeper's MP.

Hi Fruitcake,
Thank you very much for this additional info, the only part that I'm unsure of is the following comment.
'Ensure the keeper uses the word both C-m and I have highlighted'
Sorry, I'm not sure what you are referring to here.0 -
The word erase has a specific legal meaning when referring to data.
Coupon-mad (C-m) highlighted the word by using capital letters.
I highlighted the word by using a bold font, and underlining it.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
Why doesn't the keeper just send one mail to the G24 DPO stating both the SAR and the Erase request?0
