Does anyone remember this statement of the century ever made here on MSE ? Probably most people (if not all) who actively engaged in this thread .....
Just remember you just need to get about 60%+ (or the like) of your prediction right you are already like the legend in Investing / Trading such as Jim Simons, Peter Lynch, Warren Buffet, Howard Marks, etc

Yes but as Type_45 predicted both a rise (prior to a fall) and a fall, it's hard to know what would disprove his predictions in the short term.

"grumiofoundation" summarizing a few of them. Pay attention the last prediction the stock market will lose 80% of its value.
What is really amazing is that there is no scientific works such as statistics, historical data, technical analysis, consensus opinion from experts in economics and finance, acute Analysts /  Strategists have been presented so the people who are interested could at least follow the logic of those predictions. It seems like pure prophecy works and/or following the hypes from social media from pure, blind speculators who do not have a proper background in economics, finance; stock-market and trading/investing.

Pay attention the last which monumental: the stock Market would tank 80%.

I think that was by the end of the year, so not disproved yet.

A 70% drop in 3 months is a pretty tall order even by 1929 standards

My portfolio is back to 5th January all time high levels now. £80K of losses fully recovered.
Wow what is the size of your portfolio?
I hold a popular global index. I'm sure you can work it out
Which global index reached a high on Jan 5th and has now got back to that level please?

FTSE Global All Cap hit all time highs around mid November but it has not returned to that level. My portfolio/net worth reached back at ATH yesterday due to buying at the lows.

Counting extra funds added isn't really recovering losses.
