Right now, the IMF says the UK is the fastest-growing G7 economy in 2022, with the 2nd lowest debt. That is good news.
Yes, that is what our government say too. If you read the link, it explains why it happened. Except that it was 2021, we are in 2022 now, so the figures are not out yet.
It was because our economy shrank the most in 2020.2 -

Zukers took a heavy hit again today. His net worth now around a third of what it was last great. Still Meta think they will rule the metaverse. Who still uses Instagram? Surely nobody wants their metaverse? Ridiculous money being thrown at a ridiculous project. Pride and ego won’t let them climb down. His cash stack to burn.0

Nothing at all. The fact that Meta or now Amazon can drop 10%/20% in a day is an example of how comparing portfolios over short periods of time is mostly irrelevant. Its possibly an interesting exercise to see how well or poorly things are doing but a period of 10+ years is of more interest.Type_45 said:0 -
I’d hazard a guess that in 10 years, the giants of today will no longer be giants. Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix etc etc. We are entering earth 2.0 and they’re not going to like what’s going to hit them.Prism said:
