How much longer will this bear market go on for?

The +8.2% growth of my portfolio in the month of September is +6.6% when I strip out excess cash saved in that month.

CS has been performing terribly for a very long time. A weak share price isn't in and of itself indicative of a potential systemic risk we need to worry about. Again, specifics?
Maybe it's worth a punt?0 -

I was thinking that today. Credit Suisse might be worth a punt at this price.0 -
I am sure no one will mind me posting a quick question on here rather than start a new thread. I have just noticed with some shares that the difference between the buy price and the sell price is massive, why is that? Is it because the shares are currently in high demand on that trading day?
I am not buying individual shares just curious. I am waiting for the book to be out on kindle before I make any financial decisions.0 -

My other allocations of silver stock (+4.39% today) and gold miners (+1.30% today) combined to enable my portfolio to romp over the line.
The +2.5% growth of my portfolio this month excludes cash which I will be spending for my bills/living for the month of October.
Since when does a cash allocation only have to be money accrued up to a certain date in the past? How old does the cash have to be?

Powell wanting to be Volcker is a fantasy.
Powell is not an economist. Neither does he have the cajones of Paul Volcker. And the USA is a totally different economy now. Back then the US was an industrial powerhouse with far less debt. Now the US relies on the USD, without which the USA is basically Argentina.
Powell is worth about $150m. He doesn't need this gig. He's either doing it for his own "legacy" or he's been put up to it by someone.
Powell will pivot.0 -

1. A brokers need to earn money
2. Supply and Demand, Liquidity in the market e.g actively traded security will normally have a lower spread1 -

I made 6.6% in September, excluding new money. I expect to be challenging my ATH by the end of 2022.0
