I wouldn't say that. My gold and crypto investments are all up due to the falling dollar. Cash is always up by a bit every day.

Haven't worked out the number, and not one for rubbing it in, but I'm up today.

I use Google Sheets and the Yahoo Finance app (which is great), but they can't track things like bullion sale prices.  And my biggest allocation is cash.

    Failing upwards I guess.
Well that is defying the law of gravitation...
I don't think normal laws apply in a certain case..
You are absolutely right looking into this S&P500, world heat map performance this week. Instead of keep falling they defy the law of gravitation by keep going up. TSLA are falling after the news that Elan Musk might proceed acquiring Twitter. I do not want to add my TSLA position as I already have enough. Time to get into APPL?? But their P/E ratio is still relatively high @24.62. I might start pounding it when they keep falling reaching around 20-21.

The only investment that has any long term value whatsoever is crypto tokens, because you can upload your consciousness to the mEhDuHvErSe where you can hodl them for eternity.
Something like Mircea Popescu Bitcoin billionaires drowned off the coast of Costa Rica at the age of 41 in July 2021. He left behind a bitcoin fortune estimated to be worth more than $2 billion which will live with him in eternity.
