Opodo - how to contact them?

Anyone know Opodo's address, or UK office phone number?

Or HQ?

In Google it is 26-28 Hammersmith Grove, London, W6 7BA, but when I wrote to them there, I got a message to say they were no longer there.

I need to send them a legal letter, as I have not received the refund they received, on my behalf, from an airline.
After 2 years of contacting them, I'm no closer to a resolution.

thanks

As far as I know they are owned by a company in Europe so do not have a UK phone number.

    You could try resolver https://www.resolver.co.uk/companies/opodo-complaints/contact-details

    Lots of luck.

Keep an eye on this thread just in case someone does have any contact info, but from my past experience they have no UK contact.

You could try social media too such as Twitter. Often companies help when it is on social media. https://twitter.com/Opodo

I stopped using them after the last issue I had as it was so hard to contact them to get it put right.

    Yes, worth a try

    What about ABTA?

If they haven't given me the refund, I wonder if they'd get involved

With Opodo you go through to someone in a village somewhere in another country, they try to help, but its really not very easy for them, and nothing really gets done.

Opodo is Spanish - not an ABTA member so nothing ABTA can do
worth having a read of section 9 of Opodo's t&cs re dispute resolution

    Yes

They're not members of ATOL, so you're right, no protection - nothing!

It's ABTA they're not members of.   They do sell ATOL protected packages, they are required to be ATOL protected by law.  However ATOL won't help you here as it is only protection if Opodo go out of business.  Even when checking their ATOL license it only gives an address in Spain.

If you're trying to send them a legal letter then this may be an issue as any legal action may have to be taken under the Spanish legal system.

I'm sure you've explored this, but did you pay via credit card?

These are issue that can be faced when buying from online and overseas based companies.

No ABTA interventions. Dealing with overseas based 'service' staff if things go wrong - if you can reach them at all.  Taking legal action in overseas jurisdictions.

Did you pay by credit card?

People have short memories and jump in to bed with the cheapest seller.

Opodo, e-Dreams, Kiwi, Lastminute.com   - all are 'cheap' online ticket sellers, overseas based, poorly resourced and frequently complained about with lots of negative reviews online from customers.  But, they have it seems an never ending supply of people lined up to hand them money.
