However, they are covered by ATOL, but that only covers packages

You have to wonder why anyone books with them.0

The Hammersmith address still seems to be a registered company address so it may be adequate for legal purposes. It rather depends what you want to achieve.

I wrote to that address, but someone there emailed to say that they'd received my letter but this is not Opodo's address.
Lesson learned!0 -
If it is their registered address it is their address for many practical purposes. It may make for an easy win in court.Whether you can enforce a judgement would require further investigation (but Opodo UK continues to be registered and up-to date, and apparently operates from somewhere in the UK).0

Perhaps I should add that it is a fairly standard Spanish business procedure to deny having received communications if they find it convenient to do so.

I found out, from another company at Opodo's address, that their UK address is a postal address used by many companies.
They received a refund from ChinaAir for a cancelled flight.
They claim to have sent this to me, but I cannot find it. They did not. I guess they kept the cash.
After 2 years of calling them, nothing has happened, and I'm not sure if there is any legal recourse I can take, if they only have a postal address in this country.
I guess I could take them to small claims court, and claim for my time, but how could I enforce this?
Any ideas what to do now?
thanks

You claim in the small claims court after sending a "letter before action" using Opodo"s registered address - the Hammersmith Grove one (which has to be updated in the next month if it is out of date). There seems to be no doubt that Opodo still has offices in the UK so you can worry about finding them once you have a judgement.Who did the email saying you had the wrong address come from ?0
