Finally got to kayak over to this church today, have wanted to do
so for a few years now, we kayaked the length of the loch, took us 90 mins, so nice wee kayak without being too much after yesterdays adventures,
Money still good so far, conversations have been started re budgeting for alcohol during retirement, Mr El had said several times when we were going away he was gonna cut down and even cut out drinking, it hasnt happened, so I broached the subject of when we retire we need to have an alcohol budget in place, I've broached this before but Mr El has always said nah we dont need it " I wont drink when I retire, I wont be under the same amount of stress,"
now whilst this is true he wont be under the same amount of stress, the truth is he is addicted so we need to budget for it, last night he finally agreed, I think this has came about due to him being more involved in the finances, because he now sits down with me he knows where the money goes, so now he realises we need to budget for everything including alcohol. So a positive to add to the holiday
Have a great day everyone5 -

That view is stunning. I'm impressed you can kayak for 90 minutes. Even in my twenties that would have worn me out.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm gonna be honest here and tell you I'm a very lazy kayaker, so whilst I was out on the water for 90 mins I certainly didnt kayak the full 90 mins, I stop often and drink in the scenery, it's not a chore when it looks like the picture ... in fact its hard to get started again lolsavingholmes said:That view is stunning. we did kayak the length of the loch but it was a small loch, maybe even the smallest loch I've been on, it's more about the enjoyment than the distance and effort

Spent over the 40 budget today, but we had nachos, ice cream, coffee and alcohol outside so that's ok were still under budget for the holiday so far.
I'm a bit exhausted after all the excercise this week, my s**tbit is saying 1 for readiness, it said that yesterday as well but I pushed and went up the hill, today after we had got some shopping Mr El said come on let's go for a walk, I had to decline it was just too much, I want to enjoy my last day tomorrow so gonna rest for the night.3
