Of note on their website:
You'll need an Asda Rewards account to spend those hard-earned Asda Pounds. For the moment, Asda Rewards is only available in selected stores, find your nearest participating store using our store locator. Nothing near you yet? Hang tight! we're rolling out across the UK very soon. You can still earn Asda Pounds using your credit card until then.
My local store is not listed yet, so if I was to apply for this card, the rewards would not be redeemable until I can get to one of these selected stores by the look of it.
0.3% cashback elsewhere beats my Barclaycard Rewards card, however, my cashback on that card is in real money, so this Asda card is not for me at this time, especially as my spend with Asda is minimal.0 -
I'm not really impressed by the offer. For reference, Asda offer 3% back on spend via Spree/Ode cards. I know they aren't available to all but it shows the extent of what they can afford vs what they have.0.3% as store credit as the 'everywhere else' rate is nothing at all to get excited about either.0

Oh I agree entirely 👍0

I applied but I wasn't doing it for the rewards. I'd just be using it for the convenience of a credit card personally.0

i applied as i do use asda quite often and got accepted straight away lowish limit but i'll probably only use it at asda
i can already log into my credit card account on the app sadly theres no virtual card element so can't add it to curve just yet0 -
It took them so incredibly long to come with a new card... I expected something better though.

what i did notice is that before the launch most articles had been written saying you'd get 0.5% cashback on all non asda purchases

lots of other articles had this info too
when it was launched it was only 0.3% so either all the articles got the wrong information or asda and jaja decided to cut it at the very last moment before the launch0 -
