I would break down those 40 hours on a separate sheet. Blow by blow. Item by item.
Expect BW Legal to send you a scary costs schedule too. The difference is, YOU have a chance of getting your costs. They don't, because you haven't acted unreasonably.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad thanks for the heads up. If you was a betting woman, would you say by the fact they've ignored judges orders; they are going to cancel the hearing last minute?
I think this is wrong and could definitely be improved, but as a base.
Break Down of Hours Spent- 15 hours - Learning relevant law, starting from ground up be able to respond to this claim in a legal manor.
- 2.5 hours - Gathering historic information to provide to Claimant and request they set aside the incorrect Judgement they entered against me.
- 5 hours - Research and learning the process and procedures to defend a CCJ after Claimant refused and claimed the default judgement was entered correctly.
- 6 hours - preparation for court hearing preparation to have CCJ set aside.
- 1.5 hours - Driving to Subway shop to gather photographic evidence.
- 10 hours - preparation for court hearing for the hearing scheduled for 14th July 2023.

Replace 'manor' with 'manner'.3

I think they might still discontinue.
Make sure you phone the court the afternoon before the hearing, because BW have been known to have sent a NoD to the court and not the Defendant:

Waiting for your PM @ampersand
Just been to the shop to get some A4 paper as the printer was out to, I've got a folder so I can prepare a folder quickly and drop it to the courts, then perhaps email BW legal separate emails so they go through.
It'll likely be the photos I took on my iPhone being large in size. 10mg is such a low limit though from the courts!0 -
There are online websites which will compress a PDF for you.Jenni x4
