I've giving up on this now, I first emailed 18/07/2023 to the courts for a cost application, then chased 04/09/2023 and heard nothing at all, which is disappointing. I guess this part of the claim is hard to seek costs when they secretly discontinued and dont notify the defence so they have chance to ask. When I first phoned and asked for the hearing to go ahead they said there was nothing that can be done as it was cancelled a week ago.
I REALLY appreciate the help I've had on here, and hanging around the forums I see just how many people you all help.
I will keep my word and stay around and help who I can, but you lot are so good I dont want to give any bad advice so I'll probably stick to what I know and BW legal cases.
From a strong person, there's been some really, really hard and dark times living with this. Please dont underestimate the pressure of it when helping overs, and please keeping doing what you're doing.
I'd buy you all a drink if I could

Nobody starts here as an expert. When I started giving any form of advice (after being a lurker initially, just gaining some very basic knowledge), sticking to what I knew, it was very much the basic stuff such as 'send initial appeal', 'never reveal the driver's details', 'have you complained to the landowner' etc. Over time I gained more detailed knowledge - and try to learn something new every day from seasoned regulars - and I'm where I'm at now, acknowledging that I'm far away from being the consummate private parking expert.Every little helps (as they say) to bring some justice in this maelstrom of motorist abuse by money greedy parking pirates. Stick around, please.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ironically, had a reply 30th Sept on this, but just haven't had time to post. It doesn't matter now for me, but might help others;
Good morning,
Your email has been referred to the District Judge who has made the following comments:
‘ The court cannot respond to general correspondence and cannot make orders without a formal application. There cannot be any private communication with the judge and any letters to the court/judge will be copied to all other parties.’
Many thanks
