so we had a default on EON. They wanted a letter saying it was settled. We got that letter and sent in. And that’s what we have been waiting for since- for our offer since then.
Today we were told the letter needs to state…‘this was paid in full’. Even though the letter said settled they want it to say paid in full.
absolutely ridiculous!
we have got the letter now. Our MB is frustrated for us and has been trying to talk to their contact at KR, no response as of yet.
he is now raising this to the mortgage club for a director to look at our application and get our offer asap as this is ridiculous!!!!

It’s actually shocking! So basically our MB is trying to talk to them to use their common sense to say this is paid ajd we have 2 letters from them saying it’s paid. It was a stupid £107. Like how much more do they want??Ibec3812 said:

Oh this has freaked me out @Doorlock21 I have two old unsettled defaults from 2017 & 2018 for mail order, these were obviously fully disclosed to my broker and she was confident it would still go through. Now I'm expecting queries on this 😔

Please don’t worry. For some reason KR has made up go through every single hoop and it’s unfair.
they are being so anal about it. The letter says…paid and settled so not sure what else we can do. So hopefully now it’s been raised by the directors to look at it will be ok. But it’s as if an idiot is looking at it. It’s for £107 it was 2 years ago.
we are putting down 20% which is a massive amount and agreed to the £5k reduction they want to offer.
They just need to offer now0
