Following the latest change to the Bank of England base rate, we’re reducing your interest rate to 4.45%/4.45% (gross/AER) variable, with effect from 8th September 2025. This is in line with the terms and conditions of your account and will follow any changes to your interest rate previously notified that are yet to come into effect.
Investec are still offering 4.64% on their 90 day account and "Existing Eligible Customers" can still get 4.65% with DF Capital's 90 day offering.16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Installed 29/9/2015 - £4700 (Norfolk Solar Together Scheme); 9.6kWh US2000C Pylontech batteries + Solis Inverter installed 12/4/2022 Year target (PVGIS-CMSAF) = 3880kWh - Installer estimate 3452 kWh:Average over 6 years = 4400 :j1 -
Oxbury bank have a notice account and short duration fixed bonds (3 to 6) months none of which are visible if not an existing saver.
Right now the 90 day notice account available at 4.55% subject to minimum investment of £1000.
Their 6 month fixed bond by contrast at 4.45%.
Probably most cost effective way to access these existing client deals is to open their easy access account at 3.73% minimum £1000, and this will gateway to their other behind the scene products. Alternatively the 1 year fixed at 4.47% has a similar £1,000 minimum.
In passing, also with investec and that 90 notice account rate to reduce from 4.94% currently to 4.54% on 25 May ( I receive interest monthly). However this was flagged way back in February.1 -
Another rate reduction on my 95-day RCI account. Currently paying 4.75% (since 10 Mar) but notice of reductions to 4.55% (7 Jun), 4.40% on 20 Jul and now 4.25% on 5 Sep. Haven't got any money in it since other 90-day accounts have been paying a bit more.

Email received to say that the DF Capital 90 day notice account (issue 1) is reducing from 11th September 2025 to 4.15% AER from 4.65% AER. This is based on the 90 days’ notice period, plus 14 days.Note that notice was also previously given for this account of a reduction from 4.9% AER to 4.65% AER on 7th July 2025.I came, I saw, I melted1

I see Investec now have an issue 5 of their 90-day account paying 4.43% AER, compared to the 4.64% paid on issue 4 (presumably NLA)
I've got £5k in Investec at the moment (issue 1). I suppose I'll be getting an email in the near future. New rate would still be better than the 4.15% AER in DF Capital (see above). Vanquis gave notice awhile back cutting their rate to 4.45% AER in September.0 -
5 minutes later I get the email. 4.43% AER from 25 September.1

Just received an email from RCI saying the 95 day notice account is going up from 4.55% AER to 4.6% AER, effective immediately1

Yesterday they were offering 4.25% to new customers, today it's 4.60%. Does that mean that existing customers are to get 4.60% for the next 109 days or do the rate drops still apply. Presumably they don't to new customers. 109 days from now is 12 October.0 -
Further to the above: is there anything stopping me opening another 95-day account to get the 4.60% for a guaranteed 109 days? I've just got a few pence in my existing 95-day account.0
