Possible theft case -something a bit different...

Hello
Something a bit different here.  I've been sent this by someone.
See attachment. Thoughts please? I've never seen this before but given the value I can see why a complaint may have been made.

Were you anywhere near there at those times?

It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Assuming you did not park for a week at Heathrow, did you drop someone off and pick up a week later?

Who reported the "Theft" would be my first comment.

Did you steal parking? Was your vehicle in the car park for a week?

If yes, this is being dealt with as a criminal matter and not a civil matter and you would be well advised to engage a solicitor to defend you.

I'd love to know how this occurred

I've used short stay parking to collect someone, ANPR used at entrance barriers and encodes number plate onto ticket

On leaving , pay for parking at machine by entering the card .

Barriers recognise number plate on approach, know payment made and raises barrier for exit.

Unless you tailgated the barrier wouldn't open

Maybe they used a "stolen" card or maybe the payment was later voided for some other reason in this instance; hence, the "theft" allegation.
