Are they though? Does the Senior Railcard have a photo? I know the Disabled Railcard doesn't.Wicked_Lady said:

I suppose if the name on the ID matches your debit or credit card then that would be okay. If you're paying cash then that could possibly be an issue....0

Just discovered that if you want to go camping in the New Forest many campsites offer 20% off if one of your party is over 60.2

My query was whether Iceland are definitely asking for photo ID. You seem sure that they are, but a Driving License does not ALWAYS have a photo - the old paper licences remain valid so if you haven't moved house in the last 20+ years you may not yet have a photocard. And as established, not all Railcards have photos - it looks as if when I renew my Disabled Railcard it still won't have a photo, because I'm not going for an Appy one!Wicked_Lady said:

Clowance presumably still has a paper driving licence, and if not yet SPA won't have a bus pass (which does have a photo). So I guess we await the return of someone who's been to Iceland with one of the forms of ID they say they'll accept but which doesn't have a photo.
I even went and looked at the detailed t&c: it is no clearer there: https://www.iceland.co.uk/terms.html. They say customers must produce 'valid' proof of ID, but nowhere do they say it must be photo ID.

You could telephone your local Iceland and ask them.0

or ask to speak to the manager about the T&Cs if you are refused a discount due to having a paper license or other non photo id as photo id isn't mentioned in the T&CsBrywalker said:You could telephone your local Iceland and ask them.
