ParkingEye CCJ Letter!

Hi, I would really appreciate help. I received a parking ticket some time ago and was advised to ignore it as its a private piece of land.

I've now received a CCJ for £207 which I cannot afford.

Can someone kindly advise on what if anything I can or should do at this stage?

Many thanks!
Eits.

Are you sure you have received a CCJ - a County Court Judgment?
Or have you perhaps received a County Court Claim?

Is this anything to do with your earlier ParkingEye thread where, by the way, you have received replies but appear not to have noticed them.

If so, then please copy your above post as a reply on that thread and at the same time confirm what you have received.

Then perhaps you can edit your post above and the thread title to say something like...

    Duplicate thread - please ignore

Hi thanks for your reply! I had forgotten my log in for a long time  so forgive me I'm not very tech savvy. The letter is from parking Eye and is titled county court Judgement" (pls see the attached pic)

I'm very confused as to what this letter actually means, do I pay it? And in which case does the CCJ get wiped off?

    Many thanks.

You must have ignored a court claim(?) so I am afraid you will now have to pay.

In full, and within 30 days of the date of judgment (if you don't know when the date was, ring up ParkingEye and check).

ONLY PAY IF IT IS WITHIN THE LAST 30 DAYS.

You should never ignore a private PCN.

Terrible advice you took from someone. If you'd checked here at the time that would likely have been cancelled with one email complaint to the landowner.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the reply! Yes it felt like terrible advice at the time by a bailiff also!

So I should ask parking Eye when the CCJ was served? What if its after 30 days? Although I just got the letter today?

    Thank you.

Then you might (maybe, depends on facts) have grounds to try a CCJ set aside application, like the NEWBIES thread tells you. No paying it because that does NOT wipe the CCJ unless within 30 days.

You need to get a grip on this, a CCJ could seriously damage your credit worthiness.  Read this and complain to your MP., the Government have done nothing.

No.  Clear advice was already given:
In full, and within 30 days of the date of judgment (if you don't know when the date was, ring up ParkingEye and check).
ONLY PAY IF IT IS WITHIN THE LAST 30 DAYS.

You haven't (because attachments are not allowed).

But sadly, you now have a CCJ. You are now too late to pay it off and wipe it. You were not too late when we first urged you to ring PE and ask this important question, on 1st July.

You can only set it aside if you have grounds. Paying it won't work.
