Yep I know
I would have happily taken another fix but you have to have 3 or more things in your bundle, and my other stuff is cheaper elsewhere. (Landline, broadband, sim, home insurance etc)
I maybe need to do some more research. Is that quote not about right? You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.0 -
They may be but they shouldn't be as there are systems in place. There are a lot of people oblivious to their energy, there is a lot of disinformation & if you want to be outraged about something try the Russian invasion of Ukraine & the ongoing war (which really does have deaths & an effect on our energy prices).itsjustafad said:.
And from reading these forums, some people ARE in a state of near panic and/or outraged on behalf of others.1 -
I have not researched UW at all but is the reward for introducing new people any different from the £50 refer a friend with Octopus or the Quidco(other cash back sites available) £100 cash back for joining such and such a company(when such a thing existed in competition time)
It's just a bonus for moving to another energy provider and people are pretty much only left with Octopus with the referral code and UW with their discounts.

From what I read about them, and what some former customers here say, I personally would not recommend them.YoungBlueEyes said:Yep I know

But if you are already with them anyway you might want to look into just buying their £12 mobile contract, and the cheapest home insurance they have. That should be under £400 for being able to take their fixed tariff.
What are you offered if you do that as a fixed tariff (Unit rates). Compare it to what is predicted our unit rates on SVT might look like.

Thank you @pochase.
I don't know what the rates would be on a fix, 2 things aren't enough for a fix. I'll recheck my numbers and see how little I can add to get up to enough of a bundle to be on a fix.You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.0 -

I haven’t @Mstty but I will now.You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.1

I should probably know this as I'm with them, but what counts as a bundle for a fixed tariff? Is gas and elec counted as one - ie energy? So I'd need 2 more things..?You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.0

Interesting article @Mstty, looks like I'll be better off switching cos I'm a low user.
Is there a way to compare tariffs by the standing charge? Or is it all about the units now?You have the same number of hours in the day as Einstein had. Use them.0
