Thanks for the offer Jenny, I think I have some here and I may benefit from hunting out my old books from them :)

Morning All, hope you all had a lovely weekend!

+0.5 lbs for me please, I am so happy with that as I've basically had a week and a half off, eating pretty much what I wanted. So it's really not as bad as I'd feared. I didn't weigh last week as I was in a field recovering from the weekend haha

Is this the last week in this quarter?
Eventually you get to the stage where what you want is what you should have to maintain your reduced weight.

Time flies - it is indeed the last week of the quarter and we then move to the final quarter of the year.

Absolutely - I couldn't have eaten the portion sizes I used to, and I didn't want to at all. And that felt like a big step. Next quarter for me will be about loosening the restrictions a bit and trying to find the right balance. Having this thread has been amazing and is really helping me keep on track  <3
I think I'm fractionally ahead of you on the restriction loosening front/need.

So far this month I've lost almost 2 lbs (and don't expect to lose more in the next 2 days).  So that clears the quarter target for me.  Because my electronic scales started to work with a new battery for my own records I switched from imperial to metric part way through the quarter.  I know it's not recommended but by weighing myself daily I've seen just how much weight can fluctuate and so I'm not going to worry too much about the odd half kilo.

My BMI has been comfortably "in the green" for a long time but I wanted to get it down just a little further.  It is now 20.6 and so now I'm going to allow myself to ease up to an average 1940 calories which is supposed to be the amount for an older female.  And I'm going to a party this evening which promises "delicious grub".

Next quarter I'll be looking in on the new thread in order to see the successes (think positive - they all will be successes of some kind) and at the end write how well the "maintenance plan" went.  (Perhaps there should be a thread for graduates of this one.)

I just wanted to sneak in and log another half pound down for the quarter.  I fully expect that tomorrow morning the downward trend will have been reversed so will post a new starting weight on the new thread.

As you could probably guess from my silence over the past month or so, things haven't been going particularly well here. I don't think I've quite undone everything I'd lost but will try to be brave on Monday so that I can put a final figure for this quarter and then try again for the next quarter.

I'll try not to be quite so rubbish when my head starts rebelling against me and check in here to keep me accountable, rather than spiralling further into "I've messed up so what's the point?"

Well done for all the losses this quarter and best of luck for the next one.

Thanks you Brambling for keeping track of us all xx
