Don't like to mention the 'C' word, 13 weeks today is 20.12.22, so a potential to lose a stone (well nearly) if you have a loss of 1lb a week.

I have cut out bread, trying to increase protein, (I struggle as not really a meat eater), snacking to a minimum and take-out food is 3/4 times a year.

Just wondering what everyone else is doing, I try to do my / A version of SW?

    Blood Sugar Diet.
  • Will give it a look Frith... it is definitely working for you.

I have changed diet plans when previously trying to lose weight, just thinking a change might speed things up.

It's fairly gruelling but takes all decision making out of eating!

I am having a meal "off" occasionally this time round (already done 3 months this year and lost 2 stones and now doing another 2-3 months). This fits in with going to the football and the occasional birthday meal. Trying not to swap more than one meal a week.

    Blood Sugar Diet.
I'll second the Blood Sugar Diet. It works really well for me and I've lost 10% of my starting body weight so far, bringing me to the top end of my BMI. Having a short break from it for a few weeks and then I'll try to lose another half a stone.

The worst bit I find is something for lunch when out, as most places only offer sandwiches or pasta salad type dishes. At home we have omelettes, eggs, cold meat etc for lunch.
  • Thank you, will have a look at it.   I've ordered a few diet / weight loss books from the Bay for motivation.

I agree with lunch struggles, I don't eat eggs, and no red meat and limited dairy.... the struggle is real, lol.

  • Apologies Brambling... I'm not a fan of the C word.

I agree about SW working, I think I just get 'food board' and need to incorporate a few new / different meals into my diet.
