    Morning All, hope you all had a lovely weekend!

    +0.5 lbs for me please, I am so happy with that as I've basically had a week and a half off, eating pretty much what I wanted. So it's really not as bad as I'd feared. I didn't weigh last week as I was in a field recovering from the weekend haha

    Is this the last week in this quarter?

      1lb off for me this week.

      Not particularly impressed with that!

      Thank you, will have a look at it.   I've ordered a few diet / weight loss books from the Bay for motivation.

      I agree with lunch struggles, I don't eat eggs, and no red meat and limited dairy.... the struggle is real, lol.
      Have a look in the charity shops too as I think a lot of us buy diet cooking books etc and then get rid when we're too embarrassed to think we haven't tried hard enough.  One of my locals had a whole shelf of Hairy Bikers lite, SW, etc etc.

      @Brambling
      reporting in with a STS after quite a bit of yo-yo-ing.  Have started another attempt at alcohol free and am looking to do the no carb as much as poss in October.  As luck has it I'm off to visit family in Canada and will be staying with a brother who is a non drinker and can't easily process carbs so it will take all the effort out for me if I go along with what he's eating.

       1.5 off please Brambling.

      It's coming off slowly, but I am impatient, a nice 3 or 4 lb drop would be good.

      @Van_Girl I'd be happy with a small gain, I'm never that lucky.

      @Frith.   Sorry it is only lb; it does make you fed-up, especially if you feel you have done well.

      @Brie.   Will have a look in the charity shops, thank you.  Have a lovely holiday, good luck with the alcohol-free October, you are stronger than me.

      Another pair of jeans a size smaller have been found and tried on, nothing had to be sucked in to get them on and a few Tees are fitting better.  I'm carrying on with the carb cut down also, beans will be left out of the SW type chilli I make and will try and have no carb with an evening meal.

      Have a good week everyone.

      Eventually you get to the stage where what you want is what you should have to maintain your reduced weight.

      Time flies - it is indeed the last week of the quarter and we then move to the final quarter of the year.

      Absolutely - I couldn't have eaten the portion sizes I used to, and I didn't want to at all. And that felt like a big step. Next quarter for me will be about loosening the restrictions a bit and trying to find the right balance. Having this thread has been amazing and is really helping me keep on track  <3
