Is it me or are we seeing more and more people not following court instructions

The letter just says to bring original copies of documents and that witness statements must be signed, and  have the postscript etc.

When the ccj case fininshed they said I had to get the witness statement in quick, which is why I sent it back then, do i need a second one then? Is there anything obvious i need to change/add from the previous one?

And if it's too late to send anything more should I just save my holiday day and not go, and how much of the £700 do i need to pay, do i need to pay those costs sent by their lawyers?

You are muddling up defence with witness statement.  You've failed to follow your hearing order and you are currently not a witness.

Just do a WS bundle and email it TODAY WITHOUT FAIL.

And you MUST ATTEND the hearing! If you just don't go they will not only get the £700 but they will get ALL THOSE EXTRA COSTS on top due to your unreasonable conduct!

Failing to file a WS then not turning up due to 'burying their head in the sand' is horrendously unreasonable and any party in your shoes who did that would be looking at over a grand.  You would get battered for behaving unreasonably.

Put it right.  Rescue this error! This afternoon. 

Takes only an hour or two to adapt the WS bundle example we've already shown you.

Get that evidence emailed off and then attend - be reasonable - or those extra costs CAN be claimed against you.  It will be 4 figures if the Judge holds you as having acted 'wholly unreasonably'.

But this is easy to get back on track as long as you do the WS today!

No that's a defence.

You've done that stage, months ago.

We've already told you to adapt the WS bundle by @aphex007

I'm really hoping you are too busy working on your WS to reply.

If not, and you fail to attend the hearing, you will pay more.

After getting the set aside, why are you falling down at the last hurdle?

Am sorry, i appreciate all the input, but converting, reading, translating and amending the 40 page document is beyond me , if there is some bare minimum I can do to make it seem not 'wholly unreasonable' to reply on the already supplied witness doc then please let me know- I can't find anything in the communication from the court asking for more than I already ave, so can't find instruction there.
Otherwise I will take the days holiday and go to Bury and get dished out whatever fine they see fit. Again, thanks for the help, but it's too much
