Given that there is a soft interlock to release the cable, it would be easy to have an interlock to prevent drive-away while plugged in.0 -

At the time of writing the SMMT news release was not yet out so we will have to wait and see what explanation they come up with. Meanwhile PHEVs were up 55.8%.Edit: SMMT say BEV sales fell as last November was atypical with significant deliveries following supply chain disruptions.
BEVs accounted for 9.1% of sales to private buyers.

Car Insurance Shocker!!
My car insurance for the Fiesta was under £200 last year. So was the Focus. Both are now gone.
The car insurance for the TM3 as a mid-year change was disproportionately high, but I put that down to being a change as much as the car.
I expected the premium to be higher than rock bottom that I had before, but my renewal has come through at £1,900
I am yet to do the shopping around but totally shocked at this type of premium being tabled0 -

When I replaced my old Fabia with an MG5 my premium went up about £100 but the new car is worth about 10 times more, so it didn't seem unreasonable to me.0
