When I submit my defence as per the guidelines previously advised, do I need to attach the title information I have referred to and any other back up evidence or do I do that if it proceeds to the WS stage?0
-
Evidence goes with the WS - the defence states your legal bases to refute the claim, and the WS provides the narrative and evidence to support these bases.Jenni x2

Is it worthwhile for me to submit a SAR at this juncture, or no?0
-
If you haven't already made a SAR, then do so now to VCS. They have 30 days in which to respond which will likely take you beyond your Defence deadline, but the information it will contain will be more useful at the WS stage. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So I've just sent my email to the court attaching my defence. Given it is Friday afternoon and the deadline is Monday when should I expect to get an acknowledgement? And should I email it again on Monday morning?0
-
You should receive an auto-email response. If you haven't then send it again on Monday morning after 9am.Jenni x2

Yes one just came through. Just a bit nervous that it goes through ok given all the work that has gone into it and the fact it states the attachments must be in a specific format otherwise they will be treat as not been received by the court!0
