Go on Cllr Herrett, ruin Bournemouth why don't you ?

Attacking visitors by increasing fimes will mean a much lower footfall for your shops and if they close down, it means YOU lose council tax. IT IS A FOOLS ERRAND

If you listen to the rubbish put out by the BPA, it will come back to bite you

Don't you understand that the BPA run a scam using private companies so will Bournemouth council carry the same label

Listening to the BPA is a death sentence as you will soon discover for you and shops in the town centre

Build more PARK AND RIDE sites and for goodness sake DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BPA, they are not fit for purpose and certainly not for a great seaside town like Bournemouth.

POOLE harbour is a great example, greed and stupidity Once thriving, the only thing still thriving are thr ships / boats

POOLE HARBOUR … there is a mega scammer at large

The council should be proactively issuing refunds to affected motorists rather than expecting motorists to submit a claim for charges incurred up to six years ago.

It had to be Euro Car Parks again ?

Had the driver not made a fuss and paid, even if Euro knew, they would have accepted payment. A gesture of goodwill is simply rubbish, it should be an apology

This is another of the GRIFTERS MONEY MAKING sites

We do wonder if the manager of the stores where vermin hang out, HOW MUCH does the manager earns in commission

A full investigation will prove us right or wrong

    Link —— Ferry ANPR

    A
new automated toll process is set to be implemented on a popular south
coast chain ferry, after the installation of Automatic Number Plate
    Recognition (ANPR) cameras.

    The
Sandbanks Ferry, in Dorset, will introduce the cameras on all crossings
from 1 July 2026, which it says will bring a "faster and simpler
    experience for passengers".

    The
ferry explained that the ANPR launch would coincide with all toll
payments moving online, removing the need for vehicles to stop before
    being loaded on.

Do we start a new ferry thread 😁

    Link ——  Ferry ANPR

A new automated toll process is set to be implemented on a popular south
coast chain ferry, after the installation of Automatic Number Plate
    Recognition (ANPR) cameras.

The Sandbanks Ferry, in Dorset, will introduce the cameras on all crossings
from 1 July 2026, which it says will bring a "faster and simpler
    experience for passengers".

The ferry explained that the ANPR launch would coincide with all toll
payments moving online, removing the need for vehicles to stop before
    being loaded on.

"Under the new system, those using the ferry will be able to either pay after travel, buy tokens in advance, or set up an account - with discounts available for bulk purchases.

It said those currently with ferry accounts would need to set up new ones for use with the ANPR technology by 1 July."

Ah, What could possibly go wrong?!

Unsuspecting busy daily commuters & trusting visitors having to set up new ferry accounts or have the shock of 3 weeks' worth of fake 'fines' (15 crossings at £100 a pop, I expect) three weeks later in the post.

And which scammer is running this barrier-less system in the hope people miss the deadline to 'pay later'?

Sounds rather like the barrier-less toll trap by Excel, on that bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal, with no independent appeal (at all), no signage rules (at all) and no statutory framework to protect consumers:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    airport drop off fees

    then the toll bridge

now this, looks like the floodgates are opening on a new(ish) money making scheme.

How many Parking Charge notices will be issued here to confused motorists, and what about cycles and pedestrians?

This ferry service is old and has been going for many years, it might be worth checking for bye laws

    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"
