The trade associations keep talking about "raising the bar" whilst simultaneously letting their members lower it.
Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

IT'S SAD …. The BPA and IPC are simply NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE and should be replaced

Yep the posts smack of Perky*, not JB (after all VCS don't file their own claims).
*Combined Parking Solutions owner. He always did love posting & boasting "look at how well we do it compared to other PPCs" on forums and IIRC, he couldn't spell.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My wife sometimes makes spelling mistakes, but she has a reason: she's not a native English speaker.
I'm not sure if that would apply to "Perky" or Kaizen - perhaps they need to ensure their spellchecker is set to "English (UK)" or "English (GB)" as I know a lot of apps automatically assume "English (US)" until you find the language setting and change it?

Parking mad! Seven in 10 drivers have battled to pay for parking on their phone due to poor signal - with many still getting a fine regardless

There should be an outright ban on pay by app only payments for car parking.
It makes sense that in some places pay by cash parking machines can have issues around theft of the cash box, emptying the cash box cash handling and so on, there should be no reason to replace them entirely with sign up and register for an app approach when an alternative is in place - contactless.
Ban: apps as the only option to pay, they are a pain to set up - download the app, register set up user name/password etc, set up payment for the app etc.
Ban the requirement to enter a registration number /VRN

I was using a Local Authority car park yesterday, which I have used before, but a few years ago. This LA uses an app which is less common and it wasn't working, card machine out of action and coins were rejected. No response from the help line when I called.
The second machine was only accepting cards. No contactless pad, so Apple and Google pay were no use.
