Parking stories in the News/media

Worth it. Now a few more hundred people will think parking companies can "just get" a CCJ against somebody.

People need to start going after the landowners.
Only when those who allow PPCs to operate start getting financially hurt, and even better if people who sign the contracts with PPCs get financial hurt personally will things improve.
I know UK GDPR has a personal liability clause, and that the principal is jointly and severally liable for the actions of its agents.
If double dips can be classed as GDPR issues then its a shame we haven't yet seen liability flow to the individual in an organisation/company who signed the contract/gave permission for a PPC to be held personally liable for a GDPR breach
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"10 -
The Operator is the creditor/‘Principle’, not an agent I.e zero liability for the landowner.

Not in every case … and certainly not if there is law-breaking, such as discrimination (Equality Act breach). Landowners remain jointly and severally liable for such conduct. Can't wash their hands of it.
And it's 'principal'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Kaizen2024 doesn't seem to like any challenges going directly to the landowners who employ a PPC.

Hereford Business Improvement District (BID) chief executive said parking price increases "for already hard-pressed and over-taxed drivers must be considered extremely carefully".
He suggested that making parking simpler and more flexible could encourage people to stay longer, but he added: "We cannot ignore the current reality. "Footfall is low, confidence is fragile, and businesses are under pressure.
"This is not the time to introduce policies that risk making Hereford less competitive. "Even small increases could deter visitors "especially when people have alternative destinations with easier or cheaper parking".
Pity his opinion isn't widely shared.

I just understand the relationship correctly, at least in my case i.e we are not employed, an agent etc; we effectively operate a ‘Concession’.

Kaizen loosely translates as Continuous Improvement .. rather ironic for PPC world is it not? (Unless you consider their revenue and profits - that's the only thing that ever improves; certainly not their approach to parking management).
