The funniest bit, apart from the fine, is ECP's "the dog ate my homework" excuse for missing important emails.

Parking double yellow lines isn’t always illegal - there are plenty of places where you can STOP , WAIT , and even PARK on DYL - ESPECIALLY for those with Blue badge.

Unlike the rigid enforcement of yellow lines on private land ! It’s clearly ok on a lot of public roadways but your operators choose to take advantage of this confusion to keep the income flowing.

And this looks to be just the start of their troubles with the CMA. They haven’t even started to examine any negative consumer activities by ECP. I hope there’s more to come ….. 🕰️

At para 15 on page 4 I noticed that the CMA referred to a dedicated email address "parking@cma.gov.uk" for ECP to return the information.

I wonder if the CMA will be adding a £70 debt collection fee.

I noticed that too and was wondering if that is the email address we should use where there is specific evidence of misleading actions or misleading omissions, such as a double dip.

Also wondering if that Kent Online journalist Ellie should send her FOI evidence and victims' accounts of machines apparently set up to cause keying errors, to the CMA. Wasn't that Euro Car Parks?
