Shoppers outraged at parking fines at Pentagon Shopping Centre in Chatham due to ANPR issues

The operator says they hope it  will drop to 1%. But why aim for that? It should be zero.

With 400+ spaces and a constant flow of vehicles, even 1% means at least four PCNs every single day from double dips or missed captures if the car park is full and that’s if drivers who don’t correctly use  terminal manually - they won’t because nobody can accurately remember what time they arrived .

Fixed that for you!  How does he get car insurance at that age for that beast?

Perhaps the "Rich Daddy" is from Qatar? Starmer likes that country a lot for some reason (must be the oil money).

Anglers have deserted a popular fishing spot due to car park restrictions.
    https://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/25642125.car-park-times-eype-cause-anglers-fish-elsewhere/

The overnight times now make it impossible for fishermen/women to use it, despite decades of sustainable fishing there:

"The beach at Eype used to be well frequented by anglers but restrictions at the car park next to the beauty spot introduced last year has meant that anglers have had to change their habits, expressing upset that it’s ‘another venue gone.’

As reported, unsuspecting visitors have received hefty fines after the parking operation was taken over by Euro Car Parks.

As well as new charges and the threat of fines, there is no parking allowed between 9pm and 8am in summer and 6pm and 8am in winter - preventing people visiting the beauty spot later in the evening or overnight."

    Nice work, Euro Car Parks.

Where was it someone posted yesterday, quoting from the HoC debate where the MPs called for a 'ban on added bailiff fees'?

I want the quotes but can't find it now.

    Please... thanks!

    Thanks but no.

A post here quoted the debate from May. The post was yesterday. From a regular.

    It said something like:

'Does the Honourable member agree..  that adding bailiff fees on top of already very high parking charges must be banned?"

"Does my hon. Friend agree that private parking firms are running a racket in this country by adding debt recovery fees on top of already expensive parking fines? Will he join me in urging the Minister to bring forward the new regulatory code as soon as possible and ensure that it includes the ability to prevent the addition of "bailiffs’ charges" on top of already expensive fines? "

Is it the above posted 3rd June?
