Halifax Mortgage - Timescale PLEASE!

I want to constantly message the broker... I'm restraining myself but I JUST WANNA KNOW!!

Well our valuation didn't happen!!! They were going to do a desktop valuation (I assume that means they just look at the specifications?) but they've decided they want to do a physical valuation now so that's got to get booked in! So won't be till next week now, argh!!! 

I assume because the house has a bit of land and outbuildings and if you just went on price and the fact its a semi detached house and compare to other semis  it looks seriously over priced...but it's not considering the other bits it comes with. 

So the wait continues!!!!

Gahh frustrating! At least Halifax don't make you wait too long, unlike the likes of Nationwide etc who literally are taking 30 working days at the moment!

I'm too inpatient for that!!! 🙃 oh well as long as we get the mortgage I guess it matters not how long it takes!

Called the Broker to see if they could shed some light on the situation... No news apparently, Halifax are starting to drag out their timescales so looking at early next week for the valuation report/ offer.... We just wanna know either way 😅😭

So now our valuation in person is booked...but not till Friday the 1st!!!!! So we've got to wait at least a week, probably more like 2 until we hear back. So much for them being speedy! 

I just want to know now, and book my survey!! Oh well thankfully nobody seems to be in a rush!!

😂 I do hope you hear soon...we've got another week or so to hear as ours isn't booked now till next Friday
