**Update**Wizz Air replied to my claim for expenses on day 28/30 (sent to junk mail - do check!). They have offered me a 1/3 of my claim (forced to pay for x3 very expensive BA flights after they cancelled the flight and could not re-route me).This is in addition to a swift refund of the Wizz Air flights we had booked.Should I accept and cut my losses or should I continue and pursue for the full amount (or for an increased partial offer)? Anyone have experience of this? I'm quite suprised they actually responded and offered a partial amount. Thoughts welcome.Thank you,Matthew0

This is because Hungarian law requires that Wizzair obtain written permission for you to deal with the matter on behalf of your travelling companions.
So you need to submit a signed document from each of the other passengers on the booking authorising you to receive the money on their behalf .2 -
*Further update*Wizz Air replied to the power of attorney / claim is for 3 passengers by saying that they acknowledge the claim is for x3, but the total amount they have offered in compensation remains the same. Any ideas on how I can challenge this or is time to just accept?0

What is the amount they are offering- is it the set compensation amount ?
My understanding is that you have made a claim for the additional expense of re-routing 3 passengers minus the refund for the original flight (that you have already received
) is that correct?0 -

) is that correct?Thanks for replying.My claim is for expenses for re-routing to BA, Wizz Air are using the term 'compensation'.They have offered a total of 450euro for x3 passengers. Yes, they have refunded the original Wizz Air cancelled flight for x3 passengers. Here is a copy of their latest email minus names and claim ID etc: My claim is for £1300 (x3 one way flights on BA as Wizz cancelled and could not offer me an alternative).Thank you for contacting Wizz Air Customer Service Department.
Regarding your request, we would like to compensate for the ticket price difference with another airline for all passengers from the reservation. The total amount for 3 passengers to be compensated is 450 EUR.
To process a refund to your bank account, you will need to provide us with the following information:
• IBAN (International Bank Account Number);
• SWIFT/ BIC;
• Full name of the bank;
• Account holder’s name;
• Account currency.
If you want to receive a refund in the national currency (MKD / BAM / HUF / PLN / RSD), the domestic bank account number is required instead of IBAN.
Again, please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment caused.
We look forward to your reply.Kind regards,

Just to add to the above, yes my claim is for expenses for re-routing x3 minus the refund from Wizz Air already received.
