Chase Bank - Oversubscribed? Struggling to get a transfer out

That was the same for me, I funded from Halifax, then withdrawn back to the same Halifax account, 3x 25k with no problems.

A 5-figure sum that I attempted to withdraw yesterday morning is still being held. I've spoken to Chase twice and they insist that it is showing as approved on their systems. They are now "monitoring the situation".

I’ve stopped funding Chase. c£30k in there that I don’t need quick access to so will use as ‘feeder funds’ for things. Absolutely zero hassle with Virgin, Atom, Marcus, Investec etc.

I can’t even remember if I ever had to telephone a bank to “chase” them up about money going  in or out let alone visiting a bank branch. Me think’s I unintentionally dodge a bullet on this one.  PS, I love my mobile it serves me well.

Yes, pending in the app. They admit that there is an issue releasing it but don’t appear to be doing anything about it. Had no response to in-app messages today nor any callbacks.

With Zopa providing decent rates at them moment, I decided to take out some of my money out of CHASE (as I did hold more than the FSCS limit in there), and was very impressed. I moved £10K last night (after 6pm) and that showed up on my main current account within 30 mins, and the same with a similiar transfer this morning. Just moved the funds over to ZOPA using Open Banking (TrueLayer) and credited very quickly. Probably the easiest set of money transfers I have done this year.

I'm not even being allowed the daily £25k limit atm, every big transaction getting delayed for at least 6 hours, rolling into the next day's limit instead, and small transaction 2 hours

I just moved 6k and it was instant.
