Does that not require Location to be enabled on the phone too?armith said:Might be a bit late now but the most important thing to do (for Android users) is to know your Google account details. You can then use "Find my phone" - so long as it's still powered up.

Probably - but the only location permission I have set (outside of "when app is running") is for Google. I know there's probably massive privacy issues - but I don't break the law* so the benefit of being able to find the thing outweighs the fact that Google knows how many times I visit Tesco/Buy a drink/go to the loo...wiseonesomeofthetime said:Does that not require Location to be enabled on the phone too?

The one time I used it was on holiday in Greece: Packed to leave for home, drove the hire car to the hire-car-office, took the transfer to the airport, went to security, reached into pocket to put phone in tray... Ah! I could use the "find my phone" to know I'd left it in the hotel room rather than in the hire-car/transfer bus/airport toilet etc.
