Lost My Phone - No Access

I lost my phone over last couple of days and my gosh you don't realise how everything is centralised until you lose your damn phone.

I have forgotten my login to my account online and it says to call... Well I cant do that and/or it says well send you a text.... well I cant do that...

Does anyone know if Lloyds Bank and Co Op bank, in the branch, prints you out a new bank card and provides you a new pin there and then....? I don't have time to be wasting around for 5-100 days waiting for a new bank card to arrive - I've been struggling as it is....

Thanks,

I very much doubt that individual bank branches will have the facilties to print out a bank card.

Only Metro bank prints cards in store.

So you don't have online banking accessible?

Other banks print cards in branch as well - more likely in larger branches.  You would need to ask.

I'm not 100% clear as to why the OP needs a replacement card after losing their phone, but assuming it's been blocked because the OP has reported their phone as missing, then with no phone,  no bank card and not being able to remember their online banking details they're also potentially going to face the problem of proving that they are who they say they are to the bank staff either in a local branch or at the end of a telephone or internet chat service .....

You say id find it hard to prove myself to someone in the branch.... how would that be?

Yes, because Ive lost my phone and i dont have my bank cards on me and since all my cards were connected to my apple pay and since this week/weekend I want to go out and live life, this is the reason for this topic in finding out if banks can print bank cards on the spot if I were to visit my bank Lloyds/CO-OPERATIVE.

The reason for this topic is because I do not have a phone on my person. I do not have a landline. I have an internet connection. I cannot see any 'live help' for the banks im with.

Can you not borrow a friend's phone (either mobile or landline) to call the bank?  Or even an old-fashioned public call-box - I know they're on the decline these days, but there are still plenty around.

So do you know your bank account number and sort code ?
Even if you do, it sounds to me like you're thinking that you can walk into a bank branch and say something like
'Hello I'm dranzer01. I have a bank account with you. I don't know the details, don't have my bank card, can't remember my online login, don't have the phone that is registered with you, but please can you print me out a new bank card and pin that I can just walk out with now and start spending on ?'

Somehow I think that's unlikely to happen....

But what about if they walk in armed with driving licence, birth certificate, passport, council tax bill and a gas and electricity bill, all in their name?  I take your point entirely - but in this day and age where so many folk rely on their phones for everything, someone losing/breaking their phone must be a far from unusual occurrence?  I'd have thought most banks would have some sort of set procedure in place for dealing with such a situation?
