New fixed deal from British Gas

Just had the same email which says I could save the grand sum of £25.00 if I change to the svt. But it also says that at the end of the fixed tariff """This tariff ends on 30th June 2023 and has exit fees of £75.00 per fuel.""" Are they trying to tell me that they will charge me £75 x2 to change then to svt or do they mean this will apply if I move to another supplier?Just noticed that neither of the energy rates change, just the standing charges.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I think BG only charge exit fees if you move to another supplier.0

So the price cap is now only in place until April!! Are energy providers going to let you switch back to your fixed rate if any new cap in April ends up more expensive than your original fixed? I'm staying on my fixed rate for now0
