A bit of a bleurgh day. Never really got started. Had writerโs block at work so turned to doing administrative tasks. But I really needed to write - deadline tomorrow! Iโll try again in the morning when hopefully my head will be clearer.Grateful today for a teeny bit of sun, for tea and coffee breaks, and for an item I listed selling on bay.

It went in the Friday before last, I think. had a message to say they were dealing with it and would be in touch if they needed more info. Happy Wednesday folks! It seems to have gone really fast for me! Work went ok (1 day left & then we break up for the holidays ๐๐) stopped at the post office on my way home to deposit a cheque for DH, & also bought passes for the local agricultural show in August. By buying them now, it's saved us ยฃ4. Completed 2 sewing jobs after tea. Thinking of having an early night with a magazine, then I can pass it on to mum when I see her Friday.
Grateful for laughter, receiving chocolates & cans of cocktails in addition to payment for a last minute sewing job, working alongside nice colleagues before they (unfortunately) move on to pastures new (end of contract)Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!

Sorry for being AWOL, real life has been stressful.ย DD1's MH has plummeted and she has been struggling with anxiety.ย She came to mine at 2am the other day as her boyfr was out and she was too stressed to stay at her house on her own.ย She isn't sleeping or eating much.ย ย She went to the cinema with her Dad and couldn't sit still, kept going out to the loo and ringing me up.
By contrast DD2 is on holiday in France with her friend!ย ย
Grateful that DD1 can talk to me about how she feels (mostly anxious and panicky) and that DD2 is having a lovely time with her friendย

Thanks for the 16:8 encouragementย Firsview. I hear a lot of good reports about intermittent fasting. I think the concept of SW/WW appeals Beanieย if I was in a group setting as that would help motivate me to keep to it. I'll see how I go... You've done really well though considering you're exercise capacity (walking) is limited. Any hints/tips you haveย Beanie are very welcome.ย
Today I am grateful for:
1) Feeling in the flow of things
2) For supportive work colleagues
3) My family - immediate and extended
Up toย NSD numberย 10. Might make 11 - will try harder next month ๐๐
