its not true to state that park home residents will miss out! I live on a residential site and pay my electricity bill to a supplier. Therefore I qualify. Some neighbours have been panicked by these scare stories and don't realise the truth.0

In todays press from government it was stated that they will also look after those who have no electricity account with a supplier.
All discussions in regard of park home residents were for those were they had a sub meter and got electricity through the account of the owner. Some of them even made the payment out in the name of the supplier, but they still only had sub meter.
If you have a full account with a energy supplier there was never a question that you will receive the £400, but that seems to be a very unusual set up for park homes, the majority get electricity through the owner.
So there is no scare stories here, this was a very valid concern for many residents of a park home, and those who get their electricity through their landlord. As part of this package, we are confirming today that further funding will be available to provide equivalent support of £400 for energy bills for the 1% of households who will not be reached through the EBSS. This includes those who do not have a domestic electricity meter or a direct relationship with an energy supplier, such as park home residents. An announcement with details on how and when these households across Great Britain can access this support will be made this Autumn.I don't think that the concerns of almost 300,000 households should be ignored just because you qualify without additional work from the government to get the money also to them.
