Completely get the phoning organisations, especially when having to ask them for something.

Fairly good morning, fairly horrible afternoon.
Had a bit of a meltdown usual overwhelm at lack of alone time. It's not the caring for dad that gets me, it's never having any time to myself. There is always someone home. If I go out it is just a different set of factors to negotiate and doesn't really end up as relaxing. I also live in a 9 foot by 9 foot room. This it turns out just feels full of stuff no matter what I have in it. Also, I kinda want to take the art stuff and everything else out and just have it as a relaxing space.
Have been looking at plans again as sister now has something on this year which might have an effect on a June trip. May is bank holiday ridden plus a coronation so that might be out price wise.
Also might not have the money, let's face it. The June grant might need to be reserved to get a better chair for dad, as well as add to the activity wall I'm planning.2 -

I'm looking for a dual motor riser/recliner chair, I've been keeping an eye out in charity shops etc but so far no luck.
DIA I know right?!? Sometimes I think a bedroom should just be a bedroom1 -
There is a listing on gumtree in Dublin for a dual motor riser recliner chair. Also there is a charity shop in Wexford Town, I know a bit of a spin from Dublin, but on all good roads called Bart C, but you can get aids like wheelchairs etc for a small donation, but they ask you return the item when you are finished. A friend got the use of a wheelchair, which was in new condition from there. I think the chair would be classed as a medical aid, so if you bought a brand new chair you could claim the 23% VAT back. Good luck in your search.3

That charity shop looks brilliant Pink! You're right that Wexford is a bit far, wouldn't be able to take dad so it will be on the list for next extended time off. We do have a hse supplied wheelchair as well as one we bought ourselves which is now our spare in case something happens to the hse one. Still haven't put on my big girl pants and phoned about the seat for dad, might be delegating that one to Teacup. Then we'll know if we need to buy one or no.

BG pants duly donned and phone call made. Only to discover OT on holiday til next week. But they do supply better chairs that are custom fit to need so that may be an option.
Decided to empty out my room so that I have somewhere peaceful to sit. About 3/4 removed and temporarily stored in sister's room. Not really sure where I'm going with it but I think I need to be proactive. My brain just doesn't work cramming everything into one space.1 -
