Debt and Caring

SH no rules is something I got from a documentary about a family with ASD. I need to implement it more.
The berries are the wild cousin of blueberries, they have a variety of names depending on where you come from.
Still some way to go decluttering, I've reached the awkward stuff I don't really want but can't get rid of stage.
I'm obsessing over the state of my own flat at the moment. I thought I might go over in September if I could get a deal on travel but wound up worrying over Dad's care. I would love to just get a skip and get rid of as much as possible. It would be expensive to do but would give me so much peace of mind.

Perhaps pm me the link to the documentary.
I think sorting your flat would give you some peace of mind. That sounds worth having. What is it you want to get rid of? What risks are you worrying about?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have no idea how to pm from my phone so I'll pop the link here if anyone is interested. It is not a how to documentary but more of a sort of day in the life style.

Today's plan is to take stuff to the tip with the aid of Heavy. Van has been booked for this afternoon.
Ate an entire bag of refreshers softies yesterday and was high as a kite on the sugar.
I have booked a short trip to the UK to check on my flat and prepare it for winter. I got a camper relocation deal which includes the ferry for three nights. All going well it will be mid September.
I'm ridiculously excited. I had so much fun drawing out my visual plans to organise the driving.
The plan is to clear everything that can go and box up the rest, clean the flat and fix the hole in the floor 🤦♀️
I may also get someone to value the flat. I don't think I want to sell it but I'd like to have the information.1 -
Your plans sound exciting.
Good idea to value the flat. nKeep your options open.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Glad you have your trip planned. A change is as good as a rest. Is the flat still in the right place for you or would you prefer to move back to Ireland?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

To recap the day-
Van loaded with the contents of the shed, some of the attic and two random chairs. Introduced Heavy to the wonders of the tip. Not sure he agreed with me when I said I was broadening his horizons.
Have finally sold the gym equipment! I had just begun to look at donating it and then a lovely man messaged. The entire transaction was over and done in an hour.
Another whole bag of sweets eaten. Pretty sure that I can blame it on this-
Money wise I am no further along. This is definitely a slog stage.
I'm reading the One Page Financial Plan at the moment. I think I shall use the style for each of the areas I want to organise.1 -
Well done on the decluttering. Great news on the gym equipment.
I've not heard of that book - so let us know how you get on.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
