Seems like my energy level is coming back. Slowly.
I still can't quite get up in the morning though, it's a struggle to get up by 8.
Cracking my head doesn't help lol.
Is your energy back after your bout with yhe lurgy?1 -
This is week three for me - and I felt a noticeable improvement in energy yesterday and today. Give it time. I have however avoided most non-essential activities including my balance classes - in the hope that I then avoid long covid. I hope to get back to exercising next week. I have done extra steps this week though so it's not all bad.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sitting outside with tea (one teabag I have learned my lesson, hopefully) watching the trees sway in the wind.
It has rained overnight and everything feels quite refreshed.
I think my low energy was a combination of factors- had I been sick and just taken to bed I probably would have been ok. As it was I was likely undereating quite a bit. Plus the heat. And hormones 🤦♀️
That being said, I do quite fancy two teabags now...
Off to walk the dog instead.

Whew. That was a morning and a half. Dad's care has taken some interesting cough turns.
I have ordered the wheelchair. I realized that it was likely perfectionism holding me back from ordering it- eventually just figured that there would be something wrong with any that I bought. I'd just have to adapt.
Also figuring out the ramp situation, once again this house has proved contrary with 8 inch high steps at the front door. No wonder dad always looked like he was plummeting when he stepped down.
It is definitely a two teabag afternoon.3 -
Well done on the wheelchair. Hope you find a ramp solution.
Glad you managed to get out for some 'you' time.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Woke up early then didn't get up til late eek. Debated which element of the morning was going to have to go. The dog wasn't in the kitchen when I finished breakfast so...
Gone straight to the two teabags this morning.
Had a brief moment this morning where it felt like I had the house to myself 😀
In financial news...
Money for mortgage transferred yesterday.
And have now just realized I don't have money for the dentist on Tuesday. Will have to borrow from Teacup.
Still looking for insurance for the flat.1 -
It does feel like I have been doing laundry for 900 years.
Creative side seems to be waking up, had the urge to capture this morning's breakfast scene. Now I just have to learn how to paint 🤣🤣🤣2 -
Take photos for now - and then use those as a reference point to draw and then paint...
Hope you manage to balance the budget.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
