I've just opened an account no problems - I have a Halifax current account (although for the switch I actually used my First Direct account)grandadgolfer said:I see no mention of previous switches with Halifax in terms can anybody confirm this is the case with them being same group
Got an error the first time round but worked fine second go (on iPhone Safari) - seems to time you out rather quickly if you're not fast enough on the application screens so worth having all the relevant details to hand in advance!
Didn't even get asked for additional ID checks like a passport photo
Although apparently the activation code for the online banking app comes via snail mail so can't start using that straight away0 -
I’m having issues with the existing customer switch form. Just tried a different laptop with 3 different browsers still without successsheffieldeagle said:HiI've just used the switching form using Firefox and all went fine. I have a hyphen in my name which the switch form doesn't like, so maybe its something as trivial as their system not being able to fully match the account details.0 -
Interesting. My name also has a hyphen in it which I am having to leave out because the form doesn’t like it. Maybe it’s to do with that.dcs34 said:

I already have a Club Lloyds account but was going to get rid of it.
With this current offer I'm now thinking of switching for the bonus (from a VM account that doesn't get used), then switching from Lloyds to First Direct for that bonus too, for £275 total. How long should I wait in between switching from Lloyds to FD (for the '1st' switch to complete)?0 -
Just found a different way to do it that’s worked. I logged into my online banking (not the app) and selected the switch to us option though there. It already had my account and address details, and all I needed to do was enter the account and card details of the account I was switching.mab3000 said:

Thanks, I'll give that a go.mab3000 said:

Edit: Seems to have worked, so hopefully the £125 tracks properly!1 -
As an existing Club Lloyds customer can I transfer an old bank of Scotland account or would this be seen as part of the Lloyds group?0

Anyone else being denied an account? I left them a few months ago1

Do the terms say you can't?Tight_Fist said:As an existing Club Lloyds customer can I transfer an old bank of Scotland account or would this be seen as part of the Lloyds group?0
