Para 71 should read "moot points". (I believe the word meeting is derived from the word "moot").

a third variation: moo point (because, according to Joey from TV show Friends a cow’s opinion doesn’t matter)

Followed Judge's orders and 4 days later get this

    Good Afternoon,

Please note that the Court is not in a position to print documents above 50 pages; thus any documents more than 50 pages need to be posted in hardcopy or hand delivered to the County Court Counter between 10am and 2pm.

The Court will disregard the copies sent via email.

Witness Statement with all exhibits was 64 pages. Now printed and in a nice little tabed folder.

Okey dokey.  Print a similar folder for yourself.

    I had to laugh

72 photographs of my sons car, 72 covering just 4 days, an average of 18 a day!

Day 4 shows something on the windscreen - a PCN. Then a few seconds later 2 PCN’s. Then 68 seconds later 4 PCN’s.

How the hell did that happen?

ROTFPMAO  - bull dog clip on pages for the Judge :)

    Or coloured/numbered sticky tabs.

Make a crib sheet so you can quickly refer the judge to relevant points. Make notes as the claimant's rep speaks and note which parts of your defence/WS you want to refer to the judge or challenge.

Does the IPC CoP mention anything about the number of tickets that can be issued in a 24-hour period for a single parking event?
I married my cousin. I had to...

Mrs Mouse (former magistrate) is on her way to the court to hand deliver the witness statement and "have a word" with them about conflicting instructions.

Why do I feel I'm surrounded by idiots - all the time. This afternoon's letter to the Court.

"I refer to the email from Mrs Exxxxxxxx received on 17 November 2022 advising that contrary to District Judge Moore’s instructions my Witness Statement could not be accepted by email and would be disregarded by the Court.

In this email I was told that my Witness Statement “need to be posted in hardcopy or hand delivered to the County Court Counter between 10am and 2pm.”

Today my mother attempted to hand deliver my Witness Statement and was refused access. She had earlier tried telephoning the Court but her calls just went to an answer phone.

It is most frustrating to be treated by the Court in this way. I have tried to comply and followed every instruction.

I enclose my hard copy Witness Statement and Exhibit bundle and now require confirmation that this has been received and accepted as evidence submitted on time.

Should this not be forthcoming I will have no option other than to raise a formal complaint with District Judge Moore directly"

    Incidentally, that sign is pants.

    1. The penalty term (and it is a penalty on the facts of beavis, given that there is no commercial value in excluding access to tenants) is hidden

    2. The sign does not provide any contact details as to how to acquire a permit if one is required

    3. The sign imposes an immediate breach of contract and penalty. There are no grace periods and it is not possible on those terms even to park and go to one of the estate offices to obtain a permit or go on a whitelist - the mere fact of arrival is a breach, given the charge is levied on the basis of any part of a 24hr period.
