Sounds like because you wouldn't give in and sell back to them they are now using solicitors and vexatious allegations to get back at you. Out of interest have you told the sister about this letter? She could be an ally as she'll know if it's true.0

I would always be tempted when a solicitor's spurious letter arrives to make a single reply "I refer you to the reply given in Arkell and Pressdram" and ignore further correspondence. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales11

I have no idea when the perfectly serviceable "pouffe" became footstool. I'd suggest referring to this thread as the "pouffe in the loft" or "buried pouffe" for reference.0

Can't be long before Steven Spielberg starts to show interest in this gripping narrative.1 -

Have just looked up “Arkell v Pressdram”.
lol!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £30,358.134 -
I do remember one occasion on here when someone was advised to use Arkell vs Pressdram and did so in a formal response because they took the advice at face value hadn't first looked it up to check what it was.
People really should do their own checking but I do feel those offering A vs P advice should also be careful about how they do so.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.9 -
Not Stephen Spielberg, more of a quirky sitcom. But who do we get to play the major characters?0

Might be worth speaking to your Sol about an injunction or something. A none contact rule or something. They sound totally mental.0
