    He's black with yellow eyes.
He has a few white hairs in his tail.
I love black cats, they are one of my favourite cat colours. It’s interesting how many black cats have a few white hairs, I believe it’s because the pure black ones were killed during the witch scares of earlier centuries
A neighbour has an all black boy with the most beautiful, almost mesmerising, bright emerald green eyes.  He'd have been in trouble if he'd been born back then.
He sounds lovely.  I’m glad we’re a bit more civilised these days  :)

Woke up to find all 4 cats on the bed this morning.
Eldest still hisses at the new arrival (but she doesn't like anyone smaller than her and they are of similar size)
Our other boy now no longer hides but watches from a safe distance.
Our Maine Coon and our new arrival follow each other round. I think neither quite knows how to organise a cuddle and groom session yet.
The upheaval of the last 2 weeks has brought our older 3 together more as a unit.
I go to collect the ashes on Monday.
May you find your sister soon Helli.
    Sleep well.

Yes, our new arrival has helped because he is so good natured and friendly and seems ever so grateful for his new home that its hard to be sad. My wife had surgery last week and I found our now eldest cat who looked like she had been crying thinking my wife had also 'gone'. She wouldn't leave her alone when she did come back.

    Bit of a catch up.

We have booked a little holiday in the Isle of Wight at the beginning of September, when it’s both of our birthdays.  It’s the first time we’ve been away overnight for 5 years and are looking forward to it.

The IofW was where we met 26 years ago so it will be a bit of nostalgia. :)

Im looking for someone online who does pet portraits from photos.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  It will be his Christmas present.

Thanks again for all of your love

My wife gave me a portrait of our late Queen posed as a Queen or are you after just a normal portrait?

I found someone on a local FB group who painted human and animal portraits onto stones, she did a fantastic one of my cat. If you're a member of any, it's worth looking to see if anyone sells their own work and commission a piece.

We lost our Jasper earlier on this year in his 15th year from heart failure. He was a real character, a very vocal tabby who craved human interaction and followed me everywhere.

We took a little time to adjust and grieve and because he had been quite high maintenance in his last few years, a chance to relax but at the start of this week, we got two kittens. It's all very strange adjusting to having kittens again bearing in mind it has been over 15 years since we last had a kitten but we are all starting to get used to each other now.

After Jasper died, one of middle son's friends did a portrait of him from a photo for middle son to give me for mother's day, it helped and although I cried, it is something I treasure as she has managed to really bring him to life, much more than the photo did.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
