So I have post office savings I used to be able to pay £500 by Debit Card with my Halifax Reward Account now I can't do that anymore,
So what's the best way to spend £500 or is there not a way anymore?
Should I downgrade my account? Will I have to get new Debit Card?
Please remove if discussed before

Why can't you do that anymore?
AFAIA, the PO still allows debit card deposits0 -
When I log into my P.O Savings and click on deposit money it says this
Either transfer money from another Post Office Savings account or set up your deposit via standing order from your linked account. Any regular deposits must come from your linked account.

I haven’t done it in a while but yes I used to add funds monthly to an NS&I account to qualify for the £500 spend required for the Halifax reward account.GTR_King said:Credit card is no good as I don't spend £500

Still looking for ideas to spend the £5000 -
Do you have a brokerage account? You can often fund these by debit card and then withdraw the money a few days later.0

I have solved the issue by putting £5k in Halifax Reward account but will look for £500 debit card payment later on0

On £5000 over 1 year you can get more interest than the £60 from rewards elsewhere - chase 1.5% (£75) for example.1
