Today I am grateful for motivation, as in finally having found some, so I stuck to the diet today, got loads of washing dried on the line, photographed some things to sell, changed some bedsheets, and nabbed a £15 survey and cashed out fast. Also was a NSD as I did not leave the house. My team won the football, I am bathed and have clean shiny hair, and I did all the washing up -not in the bath though!I have decided what I am going to weigh this time next week, and hopefully I will get there.....4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening Turtles. Not much going on here today and not an NSD as I succumbed to some 90 cal lollies (on offer) whilst taking DD to Mr T’s. I can confirm they are very yummy though. I wish I could have some of your optimism f0xh0les, I stick to my calorie allowance rigidly, get my steps in and still the scales rarely budge. I only have a stone left to lose though, so I suppose I am in the home straight.
I took note of mothernerds instructions and have painted my nails today and asked DD to dye my hair later in the week. I have only dyed it once in the last 30 years but I can see bits of grey now so as I have no intention whatsoever of going grey I suppose I will have to give in!
Today I am grateful for a bit of rain for the garden, being blonde so the grey doesn’t show too much and 90 cal lollies.6 -
Sending hugs @wishus, hope tomorrow is better for you.

The sun finally came out, hooray! After packaging up 11 coins I've sold on eboy, I went for a 4.5 mile walk with DH. We saw a tiny baby rabbit hopping about, so stopped to watch it. Dug up a bit of our chive plant for next door neighbour & they gave us some home grown carrots. Weeded a flower bed down the side of the driveway. Put some big rocks in front of the breeze blocks at the edge of the wheelie bin store, then spent the afternoon shovelling some of the soil pile & adding it to the newly weeded bed, before planting some Hollyhocks along the back of the bed. Saw 2 Swallows flying around the house. Sorted through some things in our bedroom.
Shortened 2 pairs of trousers after tea, now I'm sitting crocheting until it's my turn in the bath.
Grateful for a lovely day, watching wildlife, a tidy area in the gardenUse it up, wear it out

Evening
I wish you lived nearer thrifty so you could do various sewing jobs for me and teach me to crochet!! I did leave a skirt and dress with my sister at easter and she has sewed up the droopy hems for me
I've achieved another NSD, got some milk for work but used loyalty points.
Mostly done work today and a few chores.
I shall need the chaise longue in a couple of weeks please - i'm working literally at least 6 hours every day at the moment. Will be worth it when the extra money comes in.
gratitudes - seeing DD1, sunshine, ticking jobs off the list

Monday is Hard but you have.....
Time to figure it out
A home to go back to
Friends to talk to
Coffee to keep you going
(OurMindfulLife.com)
It is okay to feel
Overwhelmed and upset by stressful situations
Emotional and tearful
Lost and without a sense of direction in life sometimes
Whatever emotion or feeling you feel - it is totally valid and acceptable
(selfcareexpress)
I'm trying
I'm trying to get better
I'm trying to be happy
I'm trying to stay focused.
I'm trying not to get upset
I'm trying not to over react
I'm trying not to overthink
All I can do is try
No one is perfect.
Don't expect me to be

If each day is a gift, I'd like to know where to return Monday

Morning, Turtles. Very wet and windy up here.
Money - Yesterday was a NSD. That's number 7
Home - The Boy came for his Sunday roast yesterday and kindly brought me three huge bags of his washing which has accumulated over the past few weeks when his kitchen was out of action. Oh well. I did offer.
Me - Back on the diet. Lets hope it works.
Lots of things to do this week so I'd better get the notebook out and make a list.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
I love it mothernerd I would like to return today please. I just tested positive, but I only have a sore throat and that's it. However it is bf's birthday today (and a bank holiday) so plans are sort of out of the window. Also really praying that I can fly to UK on Friday, perhaps there's a chance I will test negative by then.
Grateful for only having mild symptoms, for sunshine and for being able to work from home.Student loan £5655

Afternoon my Turtle-Beauties! Dropped the kids at school, did the emergency shopping for all the things we ran out of at the weekend. Then went off volunteering with my Elderly Gentlemen Friends and we had a jolly good laugh at the ridiculousness of the world. Always a tonic.Came home, sorted Step-Gran's headstone, wrote an email to Step-Gran's sister, have communed with the Estate Agent, and I am having 25 minutes rest before going and doing the school run in reverse, and going a-volunteering again tonight.Shake* for breakfast, harissa bean stew and bulghar for lunch, shake* for supper, fruit salad for fun (woohoo!) when I get home. The weight is going to come off. I am not mucking about any more. I have a little size 14 number to get into before my birthday in June. I will look like a dragonfly, all shimmery and shiny, don't care if I only go to Alidee in it.*the shake powder was yellow sticker and from appr0ved f00ds warehouse. 75% off retail price - it makes it taste better.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi guys
Day off today so I’ve done some jobs and have now put my feet up with my knitting, a scarf for next winter. I bought some wool for a tea cozy but used very little so the rest will become a scarf. A deep orange colour. I have decided my next coat will be black, when I find one I like and in the price range I want to pay. I’ve all summer to keep an eye out. I rarely buy clothes in the season they are meant for. I’ll also need boots as my uggs are on their last legs so if a really really good bargain comes up I’m afraid a NSD may have to be sacrificed.
But today another NSD has been achieved. 🥳
Lunch was leftover spag bol and tea will be cheesy potato pie topped with bacon and tomato.
Its online shop day tomorrow so I’ve been rotating my stocks and fridge freezer. So today I’m grateful for a day off ( it’s been really busy at work and I’m shattered), for achieving what I had planned today and for OH getting touch with British Gas to find that we’re building a nice little buffer ready for next winter.Anyway back to the scarf
