This is an excellent thread but as prices are regional would is not make sense to create a table on OP post collating all this information.I am about to move to Octopus and they did not seem to show tariffs I am likely to pay, they showed a load of other current Tariffs.{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature please contact the Forum Team}.0

The "reduced" rate is nullified by the standing charges!
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -

I'm on a variable rate with OVO. I've just looked at their fixed deals and ALL of them are MORE than the currernt price cap! Are they allowed to do that? I've just sent them my latest meter reading, I'm paying £108 a month, I'm £70 pounds in credit and they are telling me I need to pay £139 a month. I came of a fixed deal in August but they've calculated this £139 on my "deal" coming to an end in March next year. How do they work this out as I don't have a "deal " with them and could choose to go to another supplier anytime, and my current plan says there is no fixed end date.0

EDF 1yr fix (existing customer, not considering their 3yr fix as doesn't suit our situation)
Electric only29.27KwH unit charge (didn't enquire about day/night)
38.51p per day
We are leaving our contract early so would be hit with £150 exit fee, but Vs our current rate (42.78 per unit + 32.14 standing charge) it's well worth the saving.
A - Does this look like a good rate?
B - Has anyone see any exit fee discount codes? (I found one before on here for my last switch, just over a year ago...)0
