I just saw this in the news. That's incredibly bad for supply and incredibly bad for prices. I have a horrible feeling prices will rise even higher than they're currently predicted. I fixed a few weeks ago and I think anyone who can fix should do so. The current prices of 30p for gas and 70p for electricity might look very cheap a few months from now.dazzapb said:Nordstream1 is still offline and it look like it won’t be back anytime soon.0 -
I’m inclined to agree, though I’m not sure it’s yet affected wholesale prices, which have been falling. I did fix yesterday with British Gas, and I’ll certainly stick with that, unless that failed Thatcher tribute act Truss announces a reduction in the price cap to keep the CPI down a bit. 14 day cooling off periods are useful!PK_London said:

Hi, I'm on Bulb's 2-rate (day/night) electric tariff and am considering switching to a single-rate smart meter. (Their website says this is doable.) I don't have electric storage heaters so there's no need for me to be on the day/night tariff.I know my current day/night unit rates but can't find any info on Bulb's single rate unit rates.
Can anyone (ideally East of England) on a Bulb single rate electric tariff let me know what the unit rate (p / kWh) and standing charge (p/day) is please?0 -

Many people with EV's just plug it into a 13amp socket. There's no way they can check.Steve_79_P said:
Fitting a home charger is notifiable electrical work. Quick search with local authorities would reveal if you have one.rolstherat said:
They are taking new customers as i switched on Tuesday. They do ask if you have an EV, but to be honest not sure how they checkQrizB said:rolstherat said:Why is Octopus Go not mentioned? Can they not just ask people for proof of owning/leasing an EV if they want to ensure only EV owners can have EV tariffs?ossie48 said:

They could just ask for a copy of the V5.
