How long did you take to get the payment method to work?  One of the signs says 15 minutes and ALL of the signs are in appalling small print.  The payment methods are so bad the BPA stopped them trading there for a while.

@ParkingMad has loads of info about this scam site so don't rush your defence.  More info to come.

This is one of the signs in the car park. It states that there is a 15 minute grace period to purchase a ticket.

Unfortunately the payment was made 2 minutes after this so unable to argue on this case!

I will include reference to the signs being in small print and not clear.

Any other top tips on what to use in this defence?

    Yes you are.

Because if there is a 15 minute 'consideration' period advertised, to allow time to make payment in a known scam car park where the payment methods don't work well, there is no reason to think that a person who stays and pays, doesn't also get the industry minimum ten minutes 'grace' after expiry of their paid ticket.  This is mandatory in the Code of Practice.

    Hi All @ParkingMad @Coupon-mad @Castle

I can't find the CCBCAQ email address to submit my defence to - please can you confirm this?

Assume an email is fine to send with the document attached?

It's in bold text in the very first post of the Defence Template Announcement, right at the top of the thread list at this time of writing.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Can't find what you're referring to but have found this on another thread ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk , is this correct?
