  • I need to know why my consumption has tripled for a third of the time the boiler is on. No one is listening to me or helping. I fell at my wits ends and literally can’t get any help. No one is taking responsibility for my issue

...........or it isn't actually burning properly and there is a lot of unburnt gas escaping, (also dangerous).  In either case the answer is to turn it completely off and STOP USING IT until the engineer comes.  Yes, it will be cold.
This could easily explain the high use of gas.  Stop using the boiler until it has been repaired.

If you have it use an immersion heater for the hot water - just remember to turn it off once the boiler has been repaired.

What makes you think you are using 85kWh of gas per day?  The fact that you are quoting kW not kWh suggests that you may be misinformed.
  • Price to the gas company I’m not using all this gas. I’ve never used 85KW in my life, my average is 30 per day with heating on all day. That 85KW I only had my heating on four hours. This all started when the boiler needed this new part. No one listen to me - it’s so upsetting

I have no idea what you mean. It’s using 85KW of gas, I’m not talking about the heat from the radiators

But the gas *should* be heating the radiators.  As it isn't - you say you are using more gas but not getting more heat - something is wrong.  The good news is you already have the engineer booked to come out and they are the person who will have the expertise to look into this problem and hopefully sort it.  Until then, you need to realise you have a broken boiler that will be both expensive and maybe dangerous to turn on and find other ways of keeping warm.
Who isn't listening to you and what do you want them to do?

  • On my OVO app I can see my daily consumption. It’s drastically went up since my boiler needed this new part.  I’ve had no heating or hot water on as I’m too scared to use it. We already have a price hike and now this. It’s too much to cope with.

You've done the right thing -  noticed something wrong, rang  your gas engineer who appears to have responded very quickly.

In which case it will show kWh, not kW to which you are referring.

We are listening to you, but the only answer we can reasonably give is stop using the boiler until it is fixed.
Do you own the boiler or are you in rented accommodation?
If you own it then you also own the problem, nobody else is going to take responsibility for you.
If you are renting then your landlord should be getting this fixed, but until it is fixed you do really need to stop using it as it you are correct about the sudden increase in consumption it is not safe.
Can you tell us how you know how much gas is being used?
If you are on a pre-pay meter for example, your money will be running out around twice as fast as it was before due to the price changes so don't use money as a basis, check the meter readings...
