What about the bit where you weren't supposed to begin until you obtained the SSD?
Try paying attention. If you use a new SSD, you don't have to back up any data as it will be intact on the old HDD, ready to you to move at leisure. It's a waste of time doing it now if you'll have to do it all again with a solid state drive.1 -

I hope that you didn't delete any partitions. Did you do the Genuine Ticket thing?
You should also look online at the Windows 10 sign-in options and how they differ from Windows 7. You can still avail yourself of the local sign in option that you have with Windows 7 by declining to connect the PC to the Internet during the install.1
